Bereavement care from a doula

I’m trained to offer the most loving, non-judgmental care during a loss at any trimester, with any birth outcome—whether you’re facing loss in this moment or preparing for it in the days, weeks, or months ahead.

I work with individuals and families who are experiencing:

♥ Miscarriage

♥ Stillbirth

♥ Loss during birth

♥ Neonatal or infant loss

♥ Life-limiting prenatal diagnosis/uncertain outcomes

♥ Termination Loss

Getting started:

In-person doula support is available to individuals and families in the Northern Virginia/DC metro area, at hospitals, homes, birth centers, clinics, and in NICU or perinatal hospice settings. You can reach Allie Alvarado directly at (703) 594-6331.

When I receive a call from a potential client or a healthcare provider makes a referral, I schedule a brief intake call to learn about your needs, timeline, location, and desired level of support.

If in-person support is needed right away, I’ll meet you as soon as I can. We’ll take it one step at a time, based on what you need.

If you live outside our service area or need a more flexible option, virtual support is also available, including the option to have a doula on call to talk or text with you in real time.

Please see package details below.

Virtual one-to-one sessions are available to anyone experiencing any type of reproductive grief at any time. Please reach out. You are not alone.
